Here is how to get a custom order.

As a first step, send me the chosen photo by e-mail with all desired specifications.  The  latitude you are willing to give me, the shades you would like, general preferences, format, etc.  If it’s an old photograph on paper, you can forward me either a scanned copy or the original by  REGISTERED MAIL.  It will be returned to you with the final artwork.  In all cases, it is important that the photos are clear and of good quality. 

You will then receive a personalized quote by return of email, with the price of the artwork  which will be determined upon the size you require.  One should count approximately 1,00 $ per square inch but the complexity of the image could play a role.  IImportant note:  all packing, shipping and insurance costs are not included in the artwork price.  AN ESTIMATE of said costs will be added to the quote according to the desired format. 

With this estimate, I will send you a brief description of the direction I intend to take in the treatment of the image to give you an idea of the resulting artwork.  A black and white similar as this one will be sent to you by email for your approval at no additional cost .

However, should you demand a full color sketch of the project, be aware that additional costs will apply.  If a delay is expected due to a high number of orders, you will be advised of the approximate waiting time.

If you agree with the proposed terms, you will need to read the «Contract of order» then print, initial and sign both the contract and the estimate and send me a scanned copy by email.

A deposit of a minimum of 50% of the price of the artwork will then be required.

The fastest, most efficient method of payment is through electronic funds transfers.  Easy instructions will be given to you.  These transfers are automatic and speed up the process of your order by eliminating additional waiting time related to a postal shipment.  If however this is what you wish to do, a postal adress will be provided.  Please note that ONLY CERTIFIED CHECKS OR MONEY ORDERS are accepted.  These must be issued in canadian dollars and be made to the order of France Trudelle.

Immediately upon receipt and/or clearance of your payment, I will add your project to my agenda!

When your painting is completed, I will notify you by email and send you a statement of account stating the balance due.  The artwork will be sent to you by registered mail within three working days following the receipt and clearance of the amount.  Should you prefer a different way of shipping, arrangements can be made.  All pieces are carefully packed, protected and insured before being shipped by registered mail.

In any case, a signature will be required upon delivery.  The official invoice/receipt as well as any previously submitted original photograph or material will be included in the mailing.
